Makiwatanas Heart Hoops are part of the Intikuna Collection — a series inspired by little suns, warmth, and carrying pieces of home with you everyday. Handwoven with coral-red beads and centered around a delicate heart form, these earrings honor the importance of coral within my Kichwa community, where red symbolizes protection, strength, and life.
 
Inspired by makiwatanas (manillas) and shaped through intentional beadwork, these hoops highlight movement, softness, and balance while carrying cultural memory in every detail. Finished with 14K gold-plated hoops/hooks, they feel lightweight, playful, and easy to wear.
